lost in place

thoughts from nowhere in particular

and so the story goes…

I’ve always been interested in storytelling—even from an early age when I’d draw simplistic pictures and create detailed narratives to accompany them. But beyond the tales we invent or the accounts we reveal to others about ourselves, I’m fascinated by the inner dialogue we engage in. I believe it is within these internal monologues, the thoughts we hold inside as we turn them over and around to make sense of them, that our true understanding of ourselves lies.

“Lost in Place” encapsulates a sense of being stuck, yet not longing to be elsewhere. It’s about finding purpose and meaning within the familiar, even when the world seems to be moving on without you. It’s a feeling I know all too well.
